Art by Swati PasariA vivacious, self-taught contemporary Indian artist, Swati Pasari first completed her Bachelor’s degree in business in order to join her father in the family trade. Guided by her work in Pranic healing and meditation, however, she quickly realized that art was her true calling. She began to pursue a career as a professional artist in 2008 and, after the sold-out success of her first solo exhibition, felt confident that she had chosen the right path.

Art by Swati Pasari includes both original acrylic paintings and fiberglass sculpture. Recurring themes of Radha Krishna, Ganesh and semi-abstracts connect these two mediums, as does a spiritual approach to her overall creative process. “Being a Pranic healer besides being a full-time artist, I enter a different dimension when I paint, so much so that I do not know what the painting will be till it’s done,” she explains. “When I look at the painting, there is an inner feeling of being complete. I see a complete reflection of my thoughts in the painting and that’s how I realize that it is done.”

Swati Pasari welcomes requests for commissioned paintings. If you like a painting that has sold, or if you have a particular space in mind, a custom painting can be made to your taste and specifications regarding size, color palette and other details. You are welcome to buy her paintings online or view them at our gallery in Palo Alto (San Francisco Bay Area). All artworks are hand signed by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.
