We showcase a highly curated collection of original paintings by both emerging and established Indian artists, each selected by our founder, curator and resident art advisor Sonia Nayyar Patwardhan. WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

We had a wonderful experience with Laasya Art while choosing art for our home. Sonia’s collection was extensive and beautifully curated with art for all tastes by some of India’s most famous artists. This is really hard to find, especially in the Bay Area. Sonia was patient and thoughtful in understanding what we wanted and helped us choose the right pieces for our home without any pressure. I highly recommend a visit to Laasya if you’re looking for unique art from the Indian subcontinent.

We really enjoyed working with Sonia and the Laasya team on our recent purchase. Sonia’s approach is more like a guide or a coach when it comes to selecting pieces. We’ll be definitely working with her in the future as well!

I came across Sonia’s amazing collection of paintings by mere luck and am so glad I did. I was always interested in art, but paintings of this kind were new terrain for me. It is different to appreciate something on the walls in an exhibition, but to love something that you can own and enjoy, that was a very exciting experience for me. Sonia has a very quiet way of explaining things to you to make you feel comfortable. I was moved by her knowledge about each artist and how each of the pieces stood out in terms of the style. She led me in the right direction, especially on how to look at the paintings and how to understand the complexity and the pricing. She also told me not to buy something if I had to keep telling myself to like it or think too hard about it. In a nutshell, she is true to herself and her collection.
