Birds and branches inhabit the calm yet captivating world of contemporary artist Manish Chavda. His scenes are carefully composed, and each detail is delicately rendered, from the distinctive feathers of the birds to the intricate veins of the leaves. Set against monochromatic backgrounds, his canvases draw from a soft palette of aqua, peach, lemon, mint, and other pastel hues, lending his paintings a dreamlike quality.

The recurring motif of small, pale moons—often glimpsed through gaps in the foliage—further evokes a quiet, contemplative mood in art by Manish Chavda. To him, nature offers a vital space for reflection and renewal. As the artist explains, “[Painting] is my way of telling people not to disconnect themselves with nature, as it has healing power.”

Manish Chavda received a Diploma in Painting from the Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts in Ahmedabad, graduating with the Shree Manekaba Silver Medal. He continued his education at the college and additionally earned an Art Teacher’s Diploma. Early in his career, he won a scholarship from the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy and a prize from the Bombay Art Society, recognizing his emerging talent. He has since shown his work widely across India, including in over 40 group exhibitions and more than 10 solo exhibitions.

Yes, all paintings are signed by the artist and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Is shipping available worldwide?

Yes, we offer both domestic and international shipping, and all fees are calculated upon purchase and included on your invoice. We frequently ship throughout the US as well as to Europe, Africa and Asia.

How are the artworks shipped?

All works including paintings, prints and sculptures are professionally packed. Smaller paintings can be shipped flat, and larger paintings can be unstretched and rolled in a tube. Each shipment is covered by transit insurance.

Are exchanges accepted?

Yes, we do offer exchanges for remote clients who are based in the United States. Paintings must be returned in the same perfect condition in order to be eligible for exchange. Please refer to our FAQ page for more details on our exchange policy.

Are the paintings framed?
