EVENTS AND EXHIBITION IN FEBRUARY 2026


We are honored to present distinguished artist Seema Kohli’s first solo exhibition in the United States. Events kick off on February 24th with a series of talks and workshops led by the artist, culminating in a three day exhibition from February 27th through March 1st.

WORKSHOP AT PACIFIC ART LEAGUE

Workshop: The Texture Of Remembering
Pacific Art League, 668 Ramona St, Palo Alto, California
Tuesday, February 24, 2026

This immersive workshop invites participants (18+) to explore how sense memory—smell, taste, sound, and vision—shapes consciousness and aesthetics.

Led by artist Seema Kohli, the program introduces Kaala Netra (“the eye of time”) and its role in activating memory through sensory experience.
The artist recently conducted this workshop at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Bangalore and at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), New Delhi.
This workshop is limited to 30 participants.

Drawing from her upcoming exhibition Samsara & Metamorphosis: The Mystical World of Seema Kohli, at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, artist Seema Kohli will reflect on themes of continuity, meditation, and the dialogue between her inner and outer worlds.

With bija mantra recitations and insights connecting a mandala installation gifted by SACHI to the Palo Alto Art Center, this talk offers a resonant exploration of art, reflection, and interconnectedness.

Seema Kohli’s practice spans painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and performance. For over four decades, she has developed a distinctive body of work rooted in India’s ancient spiritual and mythological traditions, while remaining deeply connected to the concerns of the present.
Laasya Art will present Seema Kohli’s most recent paintings, providing Bay Area collectors with a unique opportunity to engage with Kohli and her work in person.
